I moved to Salt Lake City Utah from Olympia, Washington in May 2009. In July I heard on the radio that a same sex couple had been detained by LDS security for showing affetion on LDS property. Instantly I had the idea to invite artists to respond to this event, but also the idea of "public display of affection".

Over 50 artists are contributing work that will be on display in 5 Salt Lake City venues.
